The top spot in Pool A is on the line as England Wheelchair face Ireland in their final Rugby League World Cup group stage game on Friday (6 November, KO 6am).
Both sides have now secured their place in the semi-finals after winning their first two games in the competition.
Friday’s showdown will decide who tops Pool A before attention turns to the semi-finals, where both sides will be one win away from a place in the 2026 Final.
There’s a family rivalry in the mix too, as brothers and Halifax Panthers teammates Jack Brown and Joe Calcott go head-to-head.
Ireland captain Calcott has made a flying start to the World Cup, scoring 13 tries across his opening two games and taking Player of the Match honours in both.
Brown has also made his mark for England, scoring a hat-trick against USA in their latest outing.
Having celebrated a treble-winning season together at Halifax Panthers in the Wheelchair Super League, the siblings now find themselves on opposite sides in what is expected to be the toughest test yet for both teams at this World Cup.
In Pool B, France and Australia have also secured their semi-final places and will meet in the final round of group games to settle top spot.
Those results will determine the semi-final line-ups, with the winners of each pool facing the runners-up from the other.
